Hello Everyone

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone :) Im Ian , im from the Chelmsford area, I had a Honda Civic Type R but sold that to get some thing more economical. I have been looking at a Fabia VRS 04-05 (in my price range) Since they had the VRS on top gear i was impressd with it and its always stuck in the back of my mind. From what i can see they seem to be a reliable liitle car with a good power out put and comfort. Is there anything major that i should be looking for? in terms of common faults/problems?

Regards

Ian :thumbup::D

Welcome to Briskoda

Hi Ian & Welcome.

We have had quite a few defectors from the Civic to the little Fabia, mainly because of running costs.

A quick search will answer most of your questions as this is a very common question.

Generally its just common sense checking of general condition if it looks abused even slightly, then walk away, check for FULL service history, make sure the cambelt & waterpump has been done @ 60K miles of 4 years whichever is sooner.

Just check door seals for leaks mainly rear, but as previously stated, a search will reveal more.

Hi and welcome aboard.
