I'm new to the forum & also to Skoda's. I need some help with installing a DVD head unit. The problem I have is identifing the correct wires in the cars Quadlock connector for the 12 v ignition feed & the illumination. I have the correct wiring adaptor harness. I have been able to get it working with a permenant 12v feed but not from the ignition. I also need to know which wire on the handbrake to connect the wire to allow the DVD to operate, I would imagine its the wire which become live when handbrake is on. The car is a 2006 Octavia 2.0 TDI Sport.

Can anyone help?

I don't think there's an ignition feed behind the radio on that model. You'll have to go back to the fuse box.

No idea re the hand brake, but normally i think you just earth to make it work, so you can tie it to ground and have it work all the time.
