Sold the 18" CH reps and really cant decide what 19"s to replace them with so picked these up cheap and my mate painted them as a temp fix!!

Also the dechroming has started!!

I was going to paint them matt black to match the grille and other bits I'm doing but it is actually the colour of the car with 10% more black in it and a little flake!

Anyone split the headlamps on a Superb??

I fancy tinting the headlamps or splitting them and painting the insides!

I am guessing the offset is high on those wheels as it looks like you need some spacers to poke them out a bit?

With regards to splitting apart the Head Lamps, no, there are reasons why they are sealed together and in this case these are not only bonded with structural adhesive but also stapled as well............... :yes:

Just so you know, opening up a headlamp is the same as blasphemy to Mr Baker who has an affinity with all things lamp

Split them if you want to, simple misting of the outsides looks bad, same with the rear lights, some bloke locally has done his and the car looks like a chavs Granada now.

I'll see if I can get some sneakies, I know he won't want me to snap it, if you're gonna mess with the lights, they look best if you open them and then do areas of the chrome in matt black.
