Records from Day one. I will post updates as life progresses..... For comparison for those interested parties.

Shame you can't upload open office docs!

I'm just as sad as you, just don't have my SM yet (almost identical to yours including down to colour, waiting at Emden!). Keep it up, looking forward to seeing what I can expect.

I'm with Mike here. FAR easier to use da German site as you can update it on the fly on your smartphone as well.

I've started to use Fuelly.com ( http://www.fuelly.com/car/skoda/yeti) although I guess there are other sites out there too.

I'm currently using an iphone App 'Gas Cubby' which seems to cover most things, here are some screen shots.

I'm hoping the figures will improve as I get more mileage on the Yeti. We all seem to be getting similar figures (MPG) 38 - 42 average.

Some quite interesting data provided by the various pieces of software being used.

Oh but a LOT of my 4000 miles was on motorways were I did get 42 average as well... But then roof box and bikes did not help. And the lead foot... well I can't help myself. This car puts a smile on my face every time I put pedal to metal. It is very fast - but does it so serenely that you don't notice how fast until you look at the other cars you just left behind! emoticon-0140-rofl.gif

Hi

You may find it easier to post shots of iphone screenshots using the built in screen shot facility - hold home button and briefly press the power switch. Screen flashes white and hey presto screenshot adds to photo library.

Mike

My fuel consumption is low because I'm doing too many short journeys around South London.

Well I never knew that.

Thanks Mike for teaching the old dog a new trick.

LOL! It was new to me too... and it worked. So I went into Pictures - there it was - and deleted the screenshot. Then the musicplayer crashed.... :)

Just to rub salt into the wounds SWMBO informs me she knew the trick already, all of a sudden I feel technically challenged :wonder:

I was shown that useful trick soon after acquiring iphone. I am always behind the camera on holiday so never get on the photos. I cured that when in Oban. I stood in front of the Web cam on North Pier and was looking at the image from that web cam on my iphone as transmitted via the internet. When the camera came to me - there I was (holding the iphone of course) and I implemented the screen shot facility and hey presto I had a photo of me on holiday. How sad can one get !!!
