According to my handbook the doors should lock automatically once I reach a speed of 15 kmh. This might sound stupid but how can you tell? :( I can't hear the doors lock (which I can if I use the button between the seats) and of course if I try to open the doors from inside they will open anyway. Can anyone else hear theirs lock? Is there a warning light? And can this function be changed using the MFD??

And while I am on, is it possible to change the speed display in the MFD screen between kph and mph? The MFD is one part of the manual that I don't find overly clear!

Kph is locked as its law to have mph and kph and the speedo lacks kph numbers.

Auto door locking is accessible through the maxi dot menu. you should hear a 'clonk' when the doors lock themselves.

has the door locking function been activated in the MDF (cant remember where it is off hand)

There was a long thread about the speed display way back try doing a search but i think it can only be changed by a dealer and the MDF has to be changed to a different country

I think it is under convenience/doors

You can change the kph, but you have to change the country as well.....

Hi,

you should be able to hear the doors lock if auto locking is set, plus the locked light should illuminate on the lock unlock switch.

You should find in the maxidot under convenience settings auto lock and auto unlock, if you opt for auto lock would advise selecting unlock as well, otherwise doors not opened from the inside will remain locked when you turn the engine off (boot also remains locked).
