I have a 2002 Octavia 110 est and was informed quite a while ago by main dealer that the air con pump has packed up. I didnt use much of the air con anyway

Does any one know what price for a new pump and is it best to get the main dealer to fit it for warranty purpose? Or as i did not use much of the air con in any case, is there any pont in spending my pennies?

Is it the compressor, or just the electromagnetic clutch on the end that has failed?

The clutch can be replaced for far less than the cost of the compressor.
