London Ambulance Service Getting New Skoda's

Well after a meeting yesterday i can tell you that london ambulance have taken delivery of new response units .... skoda yeti's !!!! :rofl:

finishing touches are been put on them now and should be on the road before april ( though with experiance this can take longer ) will be gradual roll out with the oldest going first.

dont know which spec / engine yet but i do know they are a diesel in 4x4 format

cant wait to have a play :giggle:

lol.. I'm an EMT for the NWAS and we have skoda response cars, we could do with bloody yetis though as we have the mountains and the floods! eep! we have octavias (CR140's) some are the 4WD scouts, some just the 2WD octy and the front gets very light and really struggles for traction when the back is loaded up with all the equipment. Hope the yeti's are better! :) post up a review ;)

They use 09-plate 2.0TDI Elegance estates round here.

As you say Dave, they always tend to look pretty laden down at the back!
