Pat Monster stuck in the Snow

Featured Replies

Couple of you tube links; anybody on here involved in the first one :giggle: Good advert for not using sports tyres with a 4x4

TP

A good advert for having at least some idea of how to drive in snow as well.Am I right in thinking that the Yeti ,if stuck with one wheel in the air like the vitara, would send drive to the other 3 wheels via the haldex 4x4? :smirk:

this is a good vid of the yeti 4x4 at speed in mud

The second of TPs was very interesting - real world 'rough-road' - the sort of thing I am doing quite a bit of. My, but some of those ruts were deep though! The mud one looked interesting - or fun, at least. Now where was that thread about using a jet wash?...

Good Vids. Got the impression (on TP second vid) that the Yeti did not have the ground clearance of the Vitara, the bow wave set up in the river sequence was a bit alarming and bottoming out on the rough road sequence. Graham would like this - the leafs on the road were of the wrong type.:giggle:

Yes.

The problem he was having was that as soon as the wheels statred to spin he took the power off, so not allowing the Haldex to come in.
