Jealous!

Featured Replies

Evening all,

Just a quick post to say that whilst my '55 L&K Octavia was in for some work at Carrs Skoda in Cornwall today I was lucky enough to receive a 2.0 4x4 SE auto Yeti as a courtesy car. First impressions were very positive with the quality of the interior and the handling especially standing out. For a larger car I found it very easy to just get in and drive and managed an impressive (for a large car and a 'spirited' drive) 39mpg over a 100 mile mix of dual-carriageway, A-road and much smaller road. The auto was very perceptive and, to be honest, very similar to mine in the Octavia although I thought it managed the kick-down stage better (although perhaps that was the 4x4?)

So, whilst I get my car back tomorrow morning I guess the summary of my post is that i'm jealous and I hope you all appreciate your Yeti's!!!

Thanks. We sure do. I have the same model, slightly modified....emoticon-0136-giggle.gif

Enjoy your drive tomorrow. (visit the salesman on the way out, go on, you know you want to.....emoticon-0140-rofl.gif

I think the 2.0 4x4 SE at Carrs was the demo in which I took a test drive 3 weeks ago. Glorious wagon to drive & to ride in (& SWMBO agreed!!). Got back to the showroom & placed the order.

You're lucky you managed to find a DSG TDi to drive, very rare beast!

How did road noise and general refinement and "quietness" compare with your L&K Octy?

I had a 55 '06 L&K and the Yeti is much better.

I am probably being thick but what is L&K?
