N75 Valve?

Featured Replies

Bit of a noob question but where is the N75 located? Am i right in thinking its next to the DV just past the MAF? Think this could be the cause of my flat spot issue as it seems to be getting worse.

Also how much are they roughly from the stealers?

Thanks

Paul

That's the one, not sure from the dealers prob about £40-£50 ish

Yes thats it and if you replace it get one from dealer or tps not of ebay and don't buy one of those uprated ones you will be wasting your money...

Thanks for the replys guys, i take it they are fairly straight forward to change?

Il be changing the CTS aswell as i have a fault with it hopefully the N75 will cure the flat spots though :-)

Never heard of N75 causing flat spots. MAF & or dirty throttle body are much more likely causes. Dodgy CTS isn't going to help either.

I have cleaned the throttle body already.

My mate has a golf mk4 turbo so i was going to swap valves to see if that makes a difference but if its a waste of time i won't bother. Its really starting to annoy me now the flat spots seem to be getting slightly worse :-(

only worth uprating to a j version if your car has been mapped as it prevents boost tailing off.

So swaping my n75 with another standard one is a complete waste of time? Yeah the car has a shark remap
