Wow that is faith lol. they seem like a nice car im driving one tomorrow its a bit pricey but we can see how good it is then talk about how much it will cost me to change over. I have a mondy tdci ghia x at present(ahem her family wagon :rofl: ) and i have a mk4 anni tdi golf so would welcome another VAG to my family rather than the ford!!I also like the vw jetta but they are like hens teeth in 2.0t guise so i'm not able to test one out :S

Hopefully things go well tomorrow and ill be loving the vrs!!

Baz,

I live very near to you and will be looking to sell my 56 plate octavia vrs petrol estate over the next few months so if you are still looking then mine maybe worth a look.

Spec as follows ;

Corrida red, 18" zeniths (will be refurbished prior to selling), maxidot, front/rear sensors, jumbo box, cruise, 47000 miles, cambelt and water pump change getting done 10/3/2011, FSSH, paintwork in excellent condition bar a few expected stone chips on the front, new windscreen fitted last mont due to delamination, new rear washer fitted under warranty last year, new ecu fitted last year due to emmisions light appearing every now and again and also transferable skoda warranty till end october.

i will also be selling 4 16" steels with goodyear winter tyres on them (bought last november) as well as a hatchbag bootliner and autoform liner.

Even if you're sorted by then I'd be more than happy to let you have a run out in her for a test drive.

Paul

Very kind of you paul :thumbup: Hopefully i will be sorted by then but after the experiences i had yesterday hey you never no?? :'(

I tested a 58 plate at dealers saturday it was a nice car but it p***ed down so couldnt really give it a good drive will have to book another drive when its a bit better weather.

Her indoors liked it but we also took out the leon cupra which she really likes so that took the shine off the vrs a bit :S The skoda garage was doing good rate finance on a NEW skoda + with VAT off but a used motor was really high asking price and 12% APR!! WTF the base rate is .5% how much are these guys making so i passed for now!Car sales are down for the X month in a row and im not surprised they arent doing any favours with that high rates.

I have savings available but im wanting to hang onto it (even tho rates are poor) cause you never no whats round the corner but may have to part with it rather than pay mad rates.

Are you guys aware of any good garages or deals coming up?

Cheer baz
