Ordered my VRS 170 cr manual Hatchback on the 29th September and was told it would be built during build week 5 last week was told build week 13 now today it has gone to 19!!! and this is not confirmed.

I have many thoughts as to why this is are they supplying people who have paid full price and are hoping that people that have paid the VAT free price will cancel also is it because of a parts shortage with the diesel engine or are they supplying the european market first.

Skoda UK are a waste of time and they have a take it or leave it attitude they need to remember where they were a couple of years ago before VW took over as many customers will go elsewhere than wait 8 months for a Skoda.

Did anyone on here order a VRS in September or arounfd the same time as me if so what delivery date have you been given. Also anyone else given nearly 8 months delivery for their Octavia.

I usually buy VW and this is my first Skoda and the last if I ever get it.

Dont know what the hold up is for the VRS into the UK, I placed my order (Ireland) 4th Jan 11 was told build week 6 and it will be in the dealer's next week.

I ordered 4th nov and should be built this week was confirmed last week race blue cr tdi manual maxidot and spare wheel

Gutted with my own delays but they are nothing compared to others on here there it a good thread in here for vrs delivery times from start to finish its 19 or 20 pages long check it out will give you the best info

Spoke with SUK today and apparently I have the fastest build week the guy has seen for a while. I ordered mine on 24th jan and changed to DSG on 16th feb. I know have build week 10 which starts Monday. Delivery won't be long. I'm a lucky boy. Wish it was easy for all of us. Good luck people
