Does the Vrs share the Mk5 Gti downpipe?

Featured Replies

I noticed in ETKA that the Mk5 Golf Gti downpipe and cat is 1K0 254 505 MX.

I also noticed the Tfsi Octavia Vrs has 3 different part numbers for the same section, 1 of them is 1K0 254 505NX

Although there is a very slight difference in part numbers does anyone know if they will fit?

Interesting question, I have thought the same as I had the chance at a 2nd hand pipewerx GTi dp, but if you look on the pipewerx ebay shop the GTi is 2 piece where the vRS is 1, and they said it wouldn't fit, but on DC Performance site they sell the BF decat and the part no. is the same for the GTi, Leon Cupra and vRS :S

Hmm tough one. It could save you a lot of cash as the downpipes regually pop up on mk5 gti forum but are like rocking horse poop on here.
