Ipod help!

ICE help needed!

My Octavia VRS (2010) has the 6 CD Bolero stereo fitted, and currently I'm using the aux port in the centre console to play music from my ipod.

I want to control the ipod using the touchscreen on the bolero though, which I can't do at the moment and every song change is an awkward and slightly dangerous glance down at my ipod!

I'm not particularly keen on using the SD port on the bolero and I've been quoted the best part of £400 by Prestige Skoda in Coventry to retro fit the MDI etc but I'm not prepared to pay that kind of money when I bet there are alternatives out there.

Has anybody had a similiar experience or got any tips?
