Wheel spacers on a Scout

Featured Replies

I feel that the rear wheels on my scout get a bilt lost in the arches - especially with the added plastic aroud the arches.

Has anyone put on 15mm spacers? I've seen plenty on pics of vRSs on here but would like to see how they look on a scout before pending £50 on them

ta for any advice

I had the same thoughts about my vRS, and as a result fitted 15mm spacers to the rear only. They were on for about 5 minutes, which was long enough for me to dislike the stance intensely, if I'm honest due to the extra arch extension trim on the Scout I think they would look perfect. with 10mm on the front.

Where have you found them for 50 quid by the way? That's very cheap for a pair of hubcentric spacers!

have you still got the ones that you tried? Could we do a deal on these?

cheers

I bought these, this is about £40 at current exchange rate. Don't forget you will need longer bolts...

The ones on the first link are an absolute bargain if the quality is good, and if you don't like them you will easily sell them on here!

Negative to mine mate, I sold them immediately after taking them off.

Or you could fit 245s on 18s like I did and keep the originals for winter use. I posted some photos if you search under Scout + Allroad. Still loving those tyres - so much that I bought 3 sets, fitting 2 and keeping a spare pair for each in case of terminal puncture. With 9mm tread its not very likely just yet (touch wood...).

ordered them - will post before and after pics soon...

Tyre festish? :p

Surprisingly a lot of people say that to me! Used to purchase them for a national chain owned by a famous French tyre manufacturer.

I love the smell of rubber in the morning...
