Hello all

Quick question... Does anyone know if the bulb failure warning system on an Elegence spec Superb will be upset by wiring in a basic 12N socket? Or should I say, will I require a bypass relay?

I plan to use a relay for the brake lights anyway.

It all depends on what you want to hook up to the socket. Bulb failure warning reacts to insufficient load, I do not think it reacts to overload.

Best to wire all lights with a relay... but I have a towbar carrier with LED lights, and have been using it without a relay on anything for the last 4 years / 70k+ miles of overnight trips.
