Hi buddy, what is it about the furby you like more than the WRC octy.

to me there is no comparison... WRC all day long

I would put stickers on the WRC if it were mine.

Perhaps those large wheels have altered the handling not to your desire??

Proberbly the wheels, the larger you go the worse the handling and the slower the car is. The Octy MK1 looks best with 18s on, those look quiet heavy and will have a large impact on handling/performance. If you want looks, stick with them but if you want a car that performs and handles like a furby get some smaller, lighter ones.

Get some superturismo's or turinis, job done

also as the market is dead you would be mad to sell now as it wont be worth that much imo

around the 2.5 to 3 k at best in the current climate

you need to put it back to standard to appeal to a larger audience especially change the wheels back to oem as these might look okay but the originals are part of the wrc look.....

maybe the car wil finally find a home for life lol

No she is fine and in prefect order to be honest the mrs won't drive her so it's a pain in the ass 61k full history

the values do seem to have dropped a bit recently, not sure if the rising fuel costs are driving them down? I'd of thought you'd get £3k - £3.5k. To me my car is worth more to me than in monetary terms.

My gf has only driven a yaris since passing her test but on occasion will find an excuse to borrow the octy and use 1/4 tank within 30mins hence me putting a tenner in at a time lol

you would be better keeping it the market really has fallen on its arse due to fuel and insurance but it will get better

3k imo would be tops with oem wheels fitted

The fact it is visible that its been modded lowers its value.

people look at a car thats been modded even if its only the wheels and think ... 'O god these has been owned by a complete plonker who lives in halfords and knows nothing about mechanics'

Now dont get me wrong im not saying your a complete plonker or that youve ruined your car, most people are the opposite and take great pride in their vehicles.

but when selling, its nice to have it standard in my opinion. and sell the alloys seperate as somebody will pay good money for those.
