Morning everyone :happy:

I've just registered & thought I'd say 'Hi'. Briskoda was recommended by one of my Fabia vrs driving friends - so I thought I'd give it a try.

I haven't yet got my Skoda - it's being delivered,personally, in a couple of weeks by the vendor - my best mate!

I'm looking forward to driving a '55 plate mk1 Fabia vrs, which he has owned since new & has looked after extremely well - so I'm feeling pretty lucky!

All I have to do is get over the loss of my current car - a 2008 Caterham Roadsport SV, which I've had since new - it has just been bought back by Caterham & will be collected by them on Wednesday - a very sad day :'(

I imagine I'll come up with the usual muppet newbie questions at some point - first of all though, I'll have a good read of the forum posts & if anyone has any pointers to threads they think'd help - I'd be very grateful!

Rear View Camera....again!

Noticed today that my rear view camera is seeing more than it used to, that is, I can now see some of the number plate and body work top and bottom. I'm sure it used to be just a nice clear picture of the rear without anything extra? Am I mistaken, does everyone see the number plate and bodywork?

Hey guys, I need to keep a 2kg fire extinguisher in my car due to legal requirements in Greece and I’m trying to figure out the best mounting spot. My main concern is securing it properly so it doesn’t rattle or move around while driving. I’d love to hear from anyone who’s dealt with this — where did you mount yours, and did you use a dedicated bracket or holder? Any tips on keeping it secure without damaging the interior would be great. Thanks in advance!

After dropping a wodge on the Outback for a new battery only for the tailgate issues to immediately recur and funnily enough for a internet search to suddenly (wasn't before) flag that there is a persistent and long standing Subaru issue with a parasitic battery drain via the telematics module. Basically the car continually tries to phone home and drains the battery, the tailgate control module is acutely sensitive to voltage meaning that if the car has sat for more than a day (sometime less) th

A while ago, a car parked behind mine decided to spontaneously combust, melting my rear bumper and the outsides of the light clusters, plus scorching the hatchback. The light bulbs themselves weren't damaged and still worked, as did my aftermarket reversing sensor system, none of the wires were melted. I got a garage to replace the bumper, hatchback and light plastics, but I'm having a problem with the "faulty light" detector as, whenever I turn on the lights, the bulb symbol on the instrume
