Featured Replies

anyone no any good places to get a cheap maf sensor also does anyone no what the valve is called that needs replacing when u change the y breather hoses on octy mk 1 vrs any help is appreciated thanks guys

get a genuine one from vw, the eBay ones are ****e and don't work.

I have a genuine spare one mate. £30 posted.

Get the MAF from GSF, theres a surge charge so make sure you take the old one back to get money back.

The Y hose has just exploded on my car,

I beleive its called the crankcase breather hose, and i replaced it with one of those blue silicone ones from ebay, about £20, works perfectly and the engine mil light has not come back since.

I bought a GSF MAF for a mkiv Golf a few years ago, & the car was undriveable. Wouldn't buy one from them again! Never had a problem with a new genuine VAG MAF.

Wasn't aware that you have to replace a valve when fitting a new Y breather pipe, I certainly haven't the 2 times I've had to do it on 1.8T's

The MAF they gave me is manufactured and branded BOSCH unopened, so .... i dont know what they gave you back then but ive had no trouble since.

Bosch is the standard fit MAF.
