vRS and front spacers

Featured Replies

Is anyone using spacers on the front wheels on their vRS? I have 15mm hubcentric spacers on the rear and it brings the wheels out nicely and gives a very purposeful stance from the rear. 15mm would be too much for the front and I think 10mm would be perfect but these seem difficult to get hold of and a number of manufacturers have withdrawn them due to cracking around the part that sits over the original hub.

12mm spacers instead?

Here's mine with 15mm all round:

The curvature of the bodywork and bumper make the fronts look like they stick out further than they do...vertically, they are in line with the top of the wheel arch.

I wouldn't want my fronts to be out any further than my rears and with 15mm all round they would. Still on the hunt for some decent recommended 10mm spacers.

Also do you need geometry check after fitting spacers? I had my 15mm rear ones put on at same time as I got the new springs and konis fitted hence it would of been done anyway.

Does it cut down your turning circle noticeably, or parking-up??
