Featured Replies

Hi I have a black magic pearl metallic fabia and wash, polish with auto glym resin polish then meguires tech wax on top,but I am getting a greasy bloom/haze but when I apply polish again its fine,is it because the auto glym and meguires are not happy with each other ?,looks awful took me all day yeasterday, just done the bonnet again now fine until i apply the tech wax ,should i get the autoglym wax instead?

What was the process, i.e. order of products and buffing? How did you apply them and how much? TechWax is more of an AIO, so I'd drop it and get some AG HD wax.

Your main problem here is that your using AG SRP and Tech Wax which I am afraid both do similar things, they both contain micro abrasive's and in this instance they are fighting against each other and really aren't to be layered on top of each other..........

You would be better off investing in something else other than Tech Wax or just apply Tech Wax on it's own.......

Hi well the process was=

1- rinse car with water(to get the dust off)

2- wash car with meguires shampoo start from roof down rinsing as I go

3- dry car with micro-fibre

4-polish car with auto glym super resin polish buff off with hand

5- apply meguires nxt gen 2 TECHwax buff off by hand

thats about it really

what do you mean by AIO 'apply by hand and remove by hand, applied only a pea size per foot square,so you think its the combination of auto glym and techwax not being suitable

AIO means 'All in one' and as stated it also contains micro-abbrasives....... :|

I'd drop the NXT and def get HD, its much more durable and goes well with the SRP.
