I have a 2007 57 VRS TDI. I am trying to locate my Can Bus Gateway as I want to upgrade my stereo to a Bolero. I can not find it anywhere, I have looked behind my glove box and up behind the steering column and nothing!

Please help!!!

P.S. if once i find it, if by any chance it is later than K, can I get away without changing it.

The easiest overall solution is to find someone local with VCDS, who'll scan your car and tell you that way. Where are you based.

With a 57-plate, it's possible that it's behind the dash, rather than behind the glovebox. Which is more annoying to get to.
