Help Needed Again

Featured Replies

hi all i recent bought a VAG 405 DIAGNOSTIC FAULT CODE READER and it's a gem

before i bought one of these i had all these codes

P0402

p0251

p0252

p0299

and now i have only 2 codes

P0401 EGR Flow Insufficient

And

ABS hydraulic Pump (V64)

Sporadic

012-electrial circuit

witht the egr valve i took it off a few weeks back and cleaned it but i dont know if the little plunger thingy was damaged so is it best to buy a new one ?

and with the abs pump will a second hand one do it ?

Thanks @D

Did you clean out the egr pipework as well?

I shouldn't think that a used replacement ABS unit or even a new one will sort that fault. Save yourself a load of time, money and trouble and replace the 30 amp fuse on top of the battery that covers the ABS pump circuit.
