Apologies if this is answered somewhere else but i cant find it so please dont shout at me! but i have just ordered a new octavia scout 1.8 tsi and was wondering if i got a reasonable price? it was about 17k on the road before the extras i added........I am just a bit worried i have been taken in by the skoda pay the vat offer........ still cant wait to get it though in 6 months time.

I agree, that's a great price given the hardware you get, especially when you compare that to the 2nd hand prices I've seen :o

Fantastic motor. The 1.8 is just great fun. Not fantastic around town. My commute is 3 miles of stop start and hills and I get around 21.5 22 mpg.

On a decent run it's much, much better.

Last year in the snow the car was awsome. Mine was the only car in our firms carpark that could just plough through 8 inches of snow like it wasnt their !!
