Extended Warranty

They are all nothing more than insurance policies, so check very carefully what is or isn't covered and how claims might be handled.

Personally I think you would be better putting the money into a savings account.

the best one from warrenty direct is good, because it covers wear and tear, so even a 90k gearbox would be replaced :) if I keep my vRS past the skoda warrenty, i will be taking one out ;)

I had warranty direct they cover you straight away , if your original cover has not lapsed , if it has 90 days before wear and tear kicks in. I fell out with them and cancelled cover as they would not pay out to reflash my tumble flap.( since found out can be done with vag-com), if the motor was broken they would pay for diagnostics, motor( over300) and fitting, all in , in the region of 550!. so i had to pay 100! does not pay to be honest! .they pay for diagnostics only if a part is BROKEN

Watch out for warranty direct....shortly appearing in your area on no other than watchdog!!

Do you also put money into a savings account rather than buying home & contents insurance?

I think the chance of being burgled and losing everything involves greater loss and stress in a house than having a faulty turbo or needing to replace a few suspension bushes.

I've had experience of aftermarket warranties on vehicles and would never have one again.
