MDI Confusion

Featured Replies

Hi,

Just been into the dealer to drop off my trade in, and have been told my new Octavia is at Grimsby awaiting a lift to the Midlands.

I have ordered the MDI extra, but am unsure what I need to purchase to enable me to connect my iPod to the car. I asked at the parts desk and he said I needed a cable that was priced at £144! Is this correct, that having paid the extra for the MDI, you then have to pay another £144 to enable you to actually use it?

Any help to end my confusion greatly appreciated!

Cheers

No, cable is about £20 and you can find them cheaper on ebay. You can also buy a USB one so that you can plug in self powered HDDs, imagine having 500GB of music at your fingertips. Some are supplied with cables so check before ordering anything.
