Skoda 1.9TDI DSG 200BHP

Featured Replies

Hi All,

After 6 years perhaps time to introduce myself... I am Veejay from The Netherlands and have my second Octavia.

It is my private car (previously had a company O2 1Z car).

It is a 1.9TDI BXE stock 105bhp engine Business Edition. Had it pumped up to 140bhp which was quite good.

Last year I have fitted GOLF IV ARL 150HP (red TDI) Injectors and a Garret 1749VB Golf ARL turbo with 3bar mapsensor. Also removed the catalic converter for a better flow. Of course a custom chip by one of the best tuners you can find in the Netherlands, because it is also a DSG 6 automatic. (Consider torque limitations). I find the nice thing of my car is that it is quite unique, Outside and under the hood nothin visualy changed. And that leads to suprised faces on the highway and after the green light.

Not sure if there are any tuned setups like this in the UK?

I have also bought myself a original VCDS MicroCan Cable and am figuring this out as a hobby and helping others. Found this site again whilst searching for DSG Long Coding options. It is too bad Launch control is not there in the Skoda DSG6.

I like my car because it is very comfortable, fuel efficient (if you want), and cheap.

Cheers!

Vijay

Ps. for those interested in figures I got a vagcom acceleration test of 0-100km/h in 7.2 and quarter mile of 14.8 at 148km/hour.
