Seat Exeo 2.0 Tdi S (143)

Featured Replies

Right bought one of these to replace the Furby VRS.

59 plate 143 bhp, 6 speed manual, airbags allround, Leather steering wheel, heated seats, Bluetooth connection, MP3 player input, ISOFIX mountings for the kids, DZ Climate control, cruise control. Boot is massive compared to the Furby.

Engine is nice and smooth, but lacks real punch. Cruising at motorway speeds is effortless, but I find overtaking is like travelling through treacle compared to the Furby.

I consider it a comfy and civilised place to be, everything seems well put together, and it soaks up the cr*ppy road surfaces without too much trouble. Handling seems OK for a larger car, though I don't like throwing it around it just seems too big and feels like there's a lot of understeer waiting to show itself.

I've had it 7 weeks and put 2,200 miles on it (total 6,000 miles). I'm getting about 38-39 mpg, which is lower than the advertised figures, but for a large car it doesn't seem unreasonable.
