felicia decat

Featured Replies

hi there was wonding if any one on here has decated there felicia and if so did it make a differance :D

why would u need to decat a felicia????

i have a 1.6 felly with an aftermarket exhaust system, after my stainless steel manifold i have a 100cel sports cat with a 2.5" bore, it was originally designed for a 2.5 Impreza Sti turbo but i picked it up off ebay unused for £45, im pretty sure for cars like ours that a 100cel cat gives next to no resistance and even a 200cel cat would be more than free flowing enough.

put a 100cel or a 200cel it's more hassle free than a decat as there are no worries regarding MOT(though some might argue that 100cel cats don't always pass)

i had all my exhaust work done at once so a manifold, sport cat, and 50mm bore diesel centre and rear sections to replace my 42mm bore petrol centre and rear sections.

the car is significantly freeier revving, but i can't say if that is a results of the entire system or cos of a particular part, i think i may have gained a few horses too, but it's hard to be sure.
