Anybody using michelin pilot super sports?

Suppose to be the dogs dubberies. What price/where/how good?

Only available in 18s and above at the moment I think.

We have one car with PS3s, One with Conti Sport 2s and other with Brdidgestone Potenza RE050s. Like the PS3s personally, if PSS even better then wow!

They will wear quite quickly. We had sport 2's andv they were shot in 8k, and a neighbour with ps3 didn't get 6k in his golf.

I guess these will be worse and you're heavily trading durability for handling. One for folks with deep pockets IMO

If people are wearing PS3 out that quickly they need to learn to drive properly :o

I just sold my vRS which had 270bhp & 300lb/ft going through the front wheels. I was using PS3's which still had 4mm left on the front and 6mm on the rear and that's after 12k miles.

PS3 have a treadwear rating of 320 (for comparison Vred Ultrac Sessanta has 270) Supersports have a treadwear rating of 300.

From all reports i have read they are the mutts nutts. A guy on the MK5 Golf forum got a set for about £900 iirc. Expensive but IMHO worth it.

Just replaced the PS3s on the front, they managed a respectable 18k miles, not bad considering the Dunlops they replaced managed 6.5k! Costco moved the Falken 452s that I had on the rear up to the front, and the increase in road noise is incredible. Now I'm just hoping they don't last 18k too!

I think we will get about 15K out of the PS3s on the TSI VRS, the Dunlops did 13K but were poor for the last half of their life. The PS2 are replaced by the the PSSs apparently not the PS3 which replace something else.

Big Michelin fan, Conti seem good on the OCty1 Estate which get pushed quite hard as it is the 130hp variant.

Would like to use Avons, ZZ3/ZZ5s as they are British supposedly but reviews not so good. ZV3/ZV3 not suited to my 1.8 TSI or SWMBO's VRS I would have thought. Need to be tranction rating AA I would have thought.
