Afternoon all,

Just about to pick up a black Octavia VRS (07) from A dealership in Clacton, so thought i'd get in early and say hello to the group.

I live in Cambridge, and have owned a an octavia Elegance, but took the plunge and opted for a diesel VRS this time.

An initial request if I can, as I have searched and have become confused by terminology already. If I wanted to retro fit a touchscreen headunit, in place of the 07 (I think it's referred to as "Stream") one. What's the best way of doing it.

I'm not bothered about sat nav, it's just the one that is fitted in the '10 plate octavia I use at work. Don't know name or serial number, it's just a CD, tuner one.

All help appreciated, and I'll update with more when I actually get the car (ie pics/ profile etc)

Hi again all, Just picked up my Octavia, and well chuffed. Thought the first thing i'd do is put a pic up.

However if anyone could let me know how to post an image directly, that would be grand. Keeps telling me i'm not allowed to use image extension.

Think its probably the bolero unit you want , if you look in the ice section i am sure there will be a guide to fitting one to your car, welcome to Briskoda.
