Looking at getting the latest set of maps for Columbus (mostly so that 7-digit postcode is available)

I'm guessing that the map CDs (DVDs??) are identical across the VW group (or are they?). But if so:

Audi, for example, seem to be offering a v7.1 maps CD that apparently includes speed camera locations, whereas Skoda only seem to mention a generic v7. I'm trying to work out how to interpret this.

Would it be perhaps that a map-set ordered through Skoda would automatically be v7.1 but as with much Skoda information the detail in the documentation is not very accurate/detailed?

Or if we definitely wanted a guaranteed v7.1 disc (and assuming that this would work in a Yeti Columbus) then it needs to be ordered from elsewhere? If so, where?

I don't think the Audi ones will work.

VW/Seat/Skoda all use the RNS510/Columbus and use the same maps, quite often in the past the same disc & just loads what is necessary for Skoda etc.

I got mine from my Skoda dealer.

My maps were updated on the last service free of charge.
