Driving in Europe

Featured Replies

Hi all

We are off to Normandy soon for our annual holiday, the first time we have taken our 2002 Superb overseas....

Does anyone know how to convert the headlights for driving on the right? On our previous car (an Omega) there was simply a latch near the side light bulb that you flicked down and it flattened the beam to make it usuable abroad...

Any help much appreciated

Martyn

The headlamps have tourist levers inside to convert them to vertical dipping.

Their location is a true masterpiece of design by Hella - perhaps they should shorten their name.

Do a Forum search as I wrote a piece on accessing these levers when I first took my Superb abroad. It's fairly easy when you know how and if you have a bent screwdriver.

Looks like dieselV6 has found it for you - see my comments.
