Minor brake fluid leak

Featured Replies

Just a quick heads up to all who have just recently collected their Monsters.

Decided to have a check round having now been the proud owner of the Pedestrian Monster for all of two weeks and 750 miles. Only issue to report being a minor brake fluid leak on the filler cap. Managed to get half a turn and an audible click by trying to tighten it a bit more. Hopefully that's sorted it but will need to monitor for a wee while. Fluid level has dropped a small amount; now 3/4 up from min to max.

Therefore might be worth checking, although more likely a one off.

Hope so.

I never worry about anything to do with brakes. I find they only slow one down...

So - I'll impress my sales lady when I collect mine on Thursday with a quick thump on each end of the roof rails and a twist on the brake fluid cap - all with a knowing smile.

Seriously - all these heads up are a big strength of the forum - many thanks

Just don't stall it as you drive away like some of us have done.
