Could someone tell me about the last firmware and maps available for the Columbus unit, please?

In the various researches i made on the internet, it seems that these are the last versions:

Firmware: 3810

Maps: 7.1

Is this correct? Does it worth the change? We are talking about a lot of €€€ (or £££) on the updates! Another thing: would i be elegible for this update, once i have the following configuration:

3T0035680A

Firmware: 2724

Maps: 7074

3800 has new languages and 7.1 map is prett much the same as 7, the only difference that POIs are stored in 2 formats, one for current(older) units and one for upcoming(new) units. At least that is what i understood from all the info on the web.
