Painting My calipers

Featured Replies

ok so im just getting round to re doing my calipers, freshen them up a bit, im using the good old smooth green hammerite paint and was wandering if anyone knows if i have to wait for the paint to dry fully before putting the wheel back on as i only have 1 stand so i am going to have to do them one at a time

So long as the wheel doesn't touch the caliper when refitting should be fine, just make sure the paint isn't running, dont want green dots on the inside of your wheels, might be worth covering the inside of the wheel with newspaper

nice one thanks matey

I gave my car a quick blitz around the streets first using the brakes as much as I could to get the callipers nice'n'warm. Then painted them. Then done the same again once painted to keep callipers warm for a bit for paint to dry. ;)
