Shopping list - feedback please - want to order tomorrow morning

I currently have a Kenwood head unit, but stock speakers, the sound from which has deteriorated. I had the front tweeters replaced, but I think the front midbasses are defective too.

I want to sound deaden all four doors, install some upgraded front speakers and connect up my old amp and sub I've got sitting in the shed. I'll just leave the OEM rears, but with the tweeters disconnected just to fill in the rear. I may have some suitably sized co-axials in the shed if that's no good.

One last thing - these say golf IV, but is the connection the same on mk5 golf / mk2 octy - http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=10052 ?
