Symphony Removal Keys

Featured Replies

Can someone point me in the right direction for the correct removal keys for the symphony unit. I can see loads on eBay but there are quite a few different shapes. Do they all do the same job?

A link to the ones that people have bought and know work would be great.

You need the Kenwood ones, just pop in to your local Halfords....

You don't need them. You can work your way into the dash to get the radio out.

Unclip all plastics around the radio, switches etc and you'll soon work out how to get it out.

kenwood keys, halfords will remove for free =]

Lol if you want the hard way to do it....

Very easy to remove without keys. Find an old credit/debit or any plastic card for that matter and cut thin strips that will fit into the keys slots. Remove the two bits of plastic trim either side of the stereo as Fabla has mentioned. Push the strips in and pull either side of the stereo.

Did this myself last week and had the stereo out in 3 mins!!

Got my old head unit out with old hacksaw blades :) worked a charm
