lol looks good tho i had they guy out at mine yesterday sizing it up fot the carbon look roof and grill then u post that up and i think it looks really good

Is this easy to do????

Is this easy to do????

Those bits are easy(ish) as the corners are all gently rounded

Its the door handles which are a bit more of a challenge - this was my first go at wrapping

reworked the corners several times, but I thought lifes too short to get all the little wriggles out

You need a hot air gun

dannyboy759 , how did you remove that cromed thing from the grill?

its like everything, practice makes perfect, a hot air gun is essential really to be able to work the material properly. Its very forgiving and will reshrink back to its original state with heat if you overstretch it to a point. However if you try too many times it loses its stickyness a bit and can peel.

I did my door handles (including drivers door) last and by then they were easier to do as had practiced on all the centre trim bits.

Take it off the car and from the back you can see the silver clips witch are part of it.

Just gently prize them out and pull the crome grill from the front at the same time

I suspect there is a post here on how to do it!

Sorry for resurecting this but just got some carbon wrap to do the grill and centre consol. Any tips and also how do you take the centre bits out as I don't have a Haynes that would no doubt tell you in detail!

Cheers

Mine is off again now as I had to remove my climate control at -5'C and the Di-Noc split as it was really brittle at that temperature.
