Featured Replies

Just tried to play a mp3 cd and wouldn't work, I'd of thought a 2006 car would play them........ Can any one please advise what to do so I can play mp3's in the car, don't really want to change the head unit and can you add a sub to the standard head unit, cheers

Any one?

The standard head unit won't do MP3s. You can either look at a connects2 box which will allow you to play them but you'll loose the CD changer, or to change the head unit to a more modern one that will do MP3 etc

I had similar problem trying to play MP3s in my 2005 Fabia VRS.

So copied my MP3's into iTunes and then copied them back out as an 'Audio CD' this solved the problem.

So my originals are safe to play at home and copies for the car.emoticon-0148-yes.gif

Not clued up enough to understand what is meant by hooking up subs with the CD changer. (sorry)

Subs as in sub-woofer unit ('speakers' in old type english). LOLemoticon-0136-giggle.gif
