Right, have been trying for the last 1/2 hour with no luck, removed 2 screws from underneath but they will not come off.

Do they 100% remove or are they part of the mirror.

Thanks

You have to pop the glass off and remove some screws behind them before you can take the case off.

No you don't. Don't need to remove screws either. B)

On the bottom of the mirror, there is a rubber bung. Pull it out and poke a jewellers screwdriver in. There is a metal clip which holds the casing on. You need to release it and the case will pull up off the mirror.

You need to push the clip towards the rear of the car. Comes off the same way as a golf.

Like this (glass comes out, but not necessary):

but the painted casing is screwed onto the metal part of the mirror, can't see how you can remove it without removing them :wonder: Unfortunately I have taken off and replaced a few

I can indeed confirm 2 bolts hold the cover on, however in trying to remove the glass tonight I have broke the drivers side one.

So have given up on the idea now.
