does anyone know the part number for the fuel tank vent hose - specifically the last 25cm that clips into the top of the charcoal canister in the drivers side of the engine bay?

Mine has snapped and until I find a spare one in a scrap yard I could do with replacing it asap.

What happens if you drive with it just venting to the atmosphere??

Loads of people in the US rip the canister out completely. They say venting to atmosphere makes the car smell of petrol fumes sometimes but seems to be safe enough. I don't like the idea of petrolly smells coming from my car or I'd have removed mine

I realised today that the noticable ticking noise from the engine bay isnt valves or injectors, its the solenoid valve on the canister.

Is this normal?

Yup means it's working lol
