04 vRS what's it worth ?

Featured Replies

Due to a possible change in circumstances, we may need to sell our Furby vRS, it's an Apr 04 reg with 10k and fitted with cruise and 6CD.

Anybody with a Glass's guide who could tell us its approx value ?

I'd say around

Yeah, seems about right. I paid 9600 privately last month for a standard spec black model.

Yet some people are still paying 10995 for an 03 plate with 10k, that cant be right. It must be worth 10500. I wouldn't let it go for less, its such a popular car at the mo and the supply is low someone will buy it for that.

If not, sell it for less! ;)

Supply is not that low. I spoke to my local dealer who can get any colour fabia RS i want within 2 weeks !?!?

My advise is aim high and work your way down ?!?

I think Autotrader is the easiest place to look and the closest to reality - currently for 2004 cars there's:

2004 SKODA FABIA 1.9 TDI PD 130 vRS 5dr Hatchback

04 reg, one owner, FSH, Cruise, A/C, Miltek Exhaust, lowered, Jabbasport Remap(185bhp), Mint Cond, Company Car forces reluctant sale. 18500 miles.

What a car is worth and what a dealer will pay for it is a different matter. Dealer buy in price which is what i quoted is around

What a car is worth and what a dealer will pay for it is a different matter

... and to paraphrase that:

"What a car is listed at in Glasses Guide and what a dealer will pay for it is a different matter"...

My near immaculate Freelander V6 (late 2000 - original cost
