Weitec Coillies

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I was thinking of getting a set of Weitec coillies after reading a couple of reviews, they seem really good value.

To anybody who has them how comfortable is the drive when the're on?

Also would I need new droplinks etc? or could I just pop them on? I do quite a lot of long journeys so would probably keep them at a 35mm drop.

Thanks

There almost the same as kw v1's

Pretty awesome to be fair

Standard length drop links suffice on all kw offerings

Be it

Ap (skoda / seat)

Weitec (vw)

Kw (audi)

Lol

as jase says they are pretty damn good. mine are all the way down and still not too bad, and im on standard drop links so no issues there :) do it

Sweet cheers guys. it's on the list.

Getting my re-trim next friday, so won't be able to do much else for a while lol

Surely it will be a waste of money if your only going to drop it 35mm? for a lot less money you can get softer riding springs and shocks which lower 35mm. I have weitec coilovers and there fine near the bottom, so unless your wanting to go low low then you might aswell just get springs and shocks.

Not so sure as buying proper dampers and lowering springs doesnt work out any cheaper anyhow.

Plus even coils at -35mm will just give that edge to fixed suspension at -25mm in the looks, 10mm makes all the difference

I have them and love them.
