Hello everyone,

I sold my last Octavia VRS in 2007 after 5 1/2 years of ownership, I have forgotten my previous forum name, so now I am SILVER ONE as I am picking up my next Octavia VRS tomorrow afternoon,

The car is a 54 plate (2004)in Silver and has only 38,000 miles on the clock, I look forward to learning more about these brilliant cars and perhaps meeting some of you owners in due course.

Thank you for the welcome,I collected the car today and very quickly realised what I have been missing, the car is everything that I remembered and it achieved a healthy 40.2mpg on the 56 mile journey home.

Much cleaning and polishing to do tomorrow and I look forward to enjoying this forum,
