FUEL FILTER REPLACEMENT

Hi I am about to save some hard earned dosh, I have purchased all genuine stuff oil filter,pollen filter castrol edge 5wx30 oil and a top empty oil sump thingy, but found out that its better to change the fuel filter at every service so thats my problem, ive a 1.4 tdi 2008 70 bhp and its the new type I think were you change the filter inside has anyone here done a change ive checked the other forums but cant find thats why I have posted here, not sure if I did nthe right thing though but when in doubt emoticon-0136-giggle.gif,so any links or advice and general tipsemoticon-0148-yes.gif

you have no need to change fuel filter. fuel filter change every 40,000 miles look in your manual or service schedule

thats what I thought but seen on several forums thats it better to change every service,it was done at 40k now its done 48k but the 12 months are up on the spanner, I have bought it already (fuel filter) genuine skoda for £15 so massive saving,but I can always keep for next service though,on the service bill at 40k was the first time it was changed so you are correctemoticon-0148-yes.gif

Ebay best place to go cheapest, also try to find firstforskoda on ebay emoticon-0148-yes.gif
