What aerial connector do I need?

Featured Replies

I recently got a new stereo for g/f's '07 Fabia vRS - it's a JVC KD-R821BT. On recommendation from the supplier (Car Audio Direct) I also purchased this VAG aerial adapter: http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=9861

However, when trying to fit it, the aerial connector on the car does not fit into the rear of the head unit. The installation guide for the head unit shows:

However the aerial adapter is not like the one shown in the diagram above - it appears to be female rather than male.

It looks like I need another adapter to make the connection between the aerial adapter and the aerial input on the back of the headunit but I'm not exactly sure what to get; would something like this do the trick?

Thanks

That looks like it....you usually need an ISO to DIN adaptor for the aerials on VAG cars. B)
