Nice surprise waiting at the forecourt

Featured Replies

Had a nice surprise from the dealer over the weekend - my Yeti has arrived!

I drove around to the dealers and it's sitting on the forecourt!

It's a Tangerine 140bhp 2.0 CR Tdi 4x4 DSG with a panoramic sun roof.

Ordered late January, to be picked up early June. Not bad!

Initial photos attached - more when I pick up the car on Friday!

Looks nice. B)

Rare colour too.

How about a white roundal on the side with "01" and a General Lee flag on the top...and a set of Air horns that play tunes???!!! :giggle:

Colour looks way better than in the catalogue!!! Good choice!!! B)

Now in THAT light with THAT camera: wow!!!!! Lovely colour! And a Velux too! A rare, rare beastie this one! Well done. Enjoy it once it arrives.

very, very nice  congratulations!!!

AWESOME stuff Alex, Looking forward to seeing more photos.

I too have the sunroof, and what an AMAZING bit of kit it really is emoticon-0110-tongueout.gif.

Sadly, it will be a LOOOOONG week for you. emoticon-0101-sadsmile.gif

Thanks guys,

Really, really impressed with the colour - the catalogue and test strips don't do it justice!

Given that you can't order a Tangerine Yeti with sunroof anymore, I'm pretty pleased with the selection!

Now, how should I pimp it out? Was thinking chrome door sill protectors and the chrome drinks holder insert.

Have I missed anything?

In THAT colour? Pimp? Why you will be a beacon already! :giggle: :giggle: No need to pimp it out.

True! However I couldn't resist! :D

Have ordered:

  • Decorative Chrome Front Bumper Trims
  • Black Door Sill Protective Covers
  • Pocket with net for the parcel shelf
  • Silver rear bumper protective panel
  • Replacement Mega LED light for boot

Well - that's it for now I think!

Question: Mudflaps. Worth it? (I'm only driving on roads at present... so it seems a little OTT)

One excited owner to be.

P.S. Skoda insurance quote for the year was ridiculous - £7,000!! Spoke to Admiral about replacing my current car (Smart Roadster Coupe) with the Yeti and they gave me some money back! Just goes to show you should always get other quotes!

Hi i would put the mud flaps on looks good with them and they do stop a little crap getting on the side of the monster.

£7000 you must be a bad risk  skoda were only £20 over morethan who i stayed with around £330 for the year on my 1.2tsi and no extra to change it to my 110 4x4 and no fee for the paper work
