Felicia central locking, all doors are locking but one, depending on which door you lock

Featured Replies

Long time no speak to Briskoda.

OH has lived with this little problem since it started happening 12 months ago, but I have use of the car at the moment whilst my rubbish Astra is being repaired.

The central locking works fine, but if you lock / unlock the drivers door, all doors lock, but the passenger door.

and vice versa

if you lock / unlock the passenger door, all doors lock, but the drivers door.

Any ideas, your help would be appreciated, I keep getting told off for leaving the passenger door open.

sounds like a wire is the wrong way round some where

Disconnect the battery for a couple of minutes, then reconnect. This should reset the controller. (I can't remember off the top of my head which fuse it uses, otherwise you could pull that instead.)

When you reconnect, you should hear all the locks reset. (Mine did when I connected them up for the first time.)

The battery disconnecting didn't work.
