In theory a little better flow, mainly cosmetic unless you have gone big turbo etc

oh dear sorryyyy! yeah im looking into turbo's for a later date. im trying to avoid the whole remapping route...thanks

Why are you trying to avoid remapping? Remapping is the best and easiest (and cheapest) way to get reliable extra power with very little risk. If you get a bigger turbo, exhaust etc. then you will still need to remap the car to get any real gains since you will need the car to be tuned to take advantage of the extra bits.

my insurace company would hang me by my balls if i got a remap! im only intrested in minor parts right now. kind of preparing my fab for that day!

You should inform your insurance of any changes that increase the power of the car. All modifications should be declared otherwise you may find you are not insured.

A remap would probably be the most hidden mod you could do on the car and with it being a mk1 Fabia vRS a switchable remap would be untraceable to insurance/dealer unlike the newer skodas that have a history. Sure Shark will confirm if this is the case.

Ive driven a standard and remapped Fab vRS and night and day performance wise. Very quick car remapped!!

PS Im not saying for a minute that you should fool your insurance company as that is very naughty.

i would never risk not telling my insurance comapny! having an accident and losing the car to void insurance isnt even an option! not to metion having a black mark over my name and paying stacks in the future! hence why remapping will have to wait abit. i am not paing 1500 smackers a year for a chipped vrs lol! although i do hear people get away with untracable maps!
